Hey November! Yesterday I wore the most clothes to practice than I have in a long time. Scarf and all. November is definitely here! I am hoping to go south for the winter for some warmer weather. I had an awesome golf lesson last weekend. My coach, Dave Atchinson, is a genius and is so quick at spotting any negative differences in my swing. I was swinging a little slower than normal and was lifting to reach the top of my backswing rather than turn my shoulders around my spine. It was a perfect fix. Now all I have to do is groove it! For those of you who are not that flexible, lifting is ok, but in my case it made me laid off when I want my club down my line. Better players tend to be a little laid off.
I heard from my brother on Sunday! So good to hear his voice! Basic training sounds tough. He can’t wait to come home for Christmas. I admire all those who give up a normal life to serve our country. Thank you.
This month I have been inspired to bake! Yesterday I made pumpkin walnut chocolate chip cookies. Yummy! I think that they are a healthy cookie because of the pumpkin:) My mom says no. I’m thinking special brownies next.
